We are delighted to welcome you to Quarry Cottage set within in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. You will be presented with a traditional terrace stone cottage in the beautiful Hamlet of Burtersett, Hawes. The Cottage is centrally heated and has been beautifully furnished and decorated to provide a warm and comfortable base whilst enjoying your holiday in the Dales. You can also enjoy the luxury and warmth of a log burning stove during the winter months. Quarry Cottage is available to book 12 months of the year.

The area is a haven for walkers, cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts due to the nature of the surrounding hills, valleys and rivers. The cottage is very close to the famous Malham Cove, Yorkshire three Peaks; Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-gent. For those that prefer the less energetic holiday there are the added attractions of the local Garsdale train station which is on the famous Settle Carlisle Railway line which crosses over the Ribblehead Viaduct. You could also enjoy afternoon cream tea on the Wensleydale Steam Railway. This vintage 17 mile railway also has the added attraction of becoming the ‘Polar Express’ during the festive period.

Whether you are visiting the area for a walking, cycling, birdwatching, sightseeing holiday or enjoying a relaxing break away then this is the ideal location. You can truly unwind, relax and enjoy the many vistas of Wether Fell and Stags Fell surrounding the Hamlet of Burtersett. It is a 1 mile drive to Hawes and a stunning 20 minutes walk to the Market Town of Hawes.

Quarry Cottage is a perfect base for all holiday types. As the area is centrally located in the North of England there is a wealth of places to visit including the Lake District, The Upper Pennies, York, Richmond and even the North Yorkshire Moors.
